Secret Service Agents Recover Almost $1M for 71-Year-Old Retiree

According to industry research, cybercrime is projected to cost the world over $12 trillion each year by 2031. Unfortunately, most of these losses will likely remain unrecovered. However, a notable exception exists in the case of a 71-year-old retiree from Vermont, whose story stands out.

Jeanette Voss lost nearly $1 million, only to regain all of it four years later. Moneywise details what transpired in Voss's case and offers advice on how others can protect themselves from similar scams.
